Description
The Burg-Wächter Diplomat safes benefit from superior German engineering and provide excellent protection of valuables in case of attack. They have been independently tested by VdS and ECB.S certified to Eurograde 1 (EN 1443-1) which is recognised by the Association of Insurance Surveyors.
The double-walled door is fitted with large square locking bolts on three sides and each bolt has an integrated steel roll bar to prevent flame cutting. Drilling attacks are protected against by additional armouring around the lock casing, backed up by a non-resettable, dual emergency bolt system which deadlocks the safe. A 10mm steel back wall, reinforced by stainless steel, provides protection against attacks to the rear of the safe and means the safe can be installed without a concrete back wall. The safe door is also insulated with fire proof material which is rated to DIN 4102 A1, providing light resistance to fire.
The SecuTronic combination lock is VdS tested and ECB.S certified to EN1300 class 2. The lock features a backlit LCD display and an intuitive menu to set up to 10 users. Each user can open the safe with either a "live" fingerprint scan (two separate prints required) or their own pin number. The internal space is suitable for A4 files and is fitted with two adjustable shelves to create a flexible and practical storage area. Supplied with 2 x AA batteries and instruction manual.
